About Sherman Sezibera

Hi, I’m Sherman Sezibera – an author, yoga teacher, and someone deeply curious about life, its mysteries, and what it means to be human. My journey has taken me through tough experiences and moments of incredible beauty and growth. These are the stories I aim to share through my writing.
In 2018, I published my first book, Être autiste et réussir sa vie, which explored the challenges of living with autism and how to find success and meaning. My latest novel, La Cité de Kali, is a dive into the world of fantasy, blending myth and reality to explore themes of identity, fear, and transformation.
Yoga has been a huge part of my life for over a decade. Teaching it has shown me how deeply connected we all are, not just to each other, but to ourselves. That connection inspires how I write and live, always seeking a balance between strength and vulnerability, and finding beauty in the unexpected.
I write because I believe stories have the power to connect us, to heal us, and to remind us of what’s important. If you’re here, I hope something in my work speaks to you. Thanks for taking a moment to learn about me. Feel free to stay a while and explore!

The Quiet Loneliness of Writing a Book
They tell you writing a book is hard. That it takes discipline, time, courage. And they’re right. But what they don’t really talk about is how lonely it can be - not just after it’s done, but while you're in it. And not a dramatic kind of loneliness either. Just......

Growing Up in Exile, Finding Home Within
There are moments in life when you realize you don’t quite belong to the place you come from, or the place you live in. For me, that’s never been just a passing thought. It’s been something I’ve carried for as long as I can remember - like a second skin. I came to...
